I would like to lodge my objection to the closure of the Civic Suite in 
Radcliffe. 

As a lifelong inhabitant of Radcliffe (62 years) I am disgusted that it is 
even being considered. 

It is a local venue for weddings, my daughter held her reception there in 
2000. I am very closely linked with Radcliffe URC Players and the closure 
would mean they lose their presence in the town with no alternative venue to 
put on their performances. 

There is little to be proud of in Radcliffe anymore and this, I feel, would be 
the final straw.
